There is a lot said in the drawings that isn’t spoken anywhere. I think there was something about holding on to options as long as possible to allow plav the greatest flexibility. Not bad for a business comic book in hard cover.

Comparing this to The Goal or The Phoenix Project this was not as cheesy and more down to earth, but in those books the learning g It was a fun read on a serious subject. This graphic business novel brings the Real Options model in a unique and understandable format, by explaining theories in a way only Sequential Art can.
It’s both a story like “The Goal” and a comic book like Lists with This Book. While Commitment is an idea born and tested on the project management world of software development, it applies equally well to life, planning a wedding or, my personal favorite, shoes. While the digital version makes for portable reading, the hard cover is invaluable as a reference. I sponsored them to get the book started.
Having said that, this book covers an important topic in an approachable way. We have already begun visualizing future scenarios and looking at various options.
The lessons of this work apply to all aspects of life. Since we are a small business, it is essential that we look toward future growth as well as the progress of the technology we requ I won this book from Goodreads giveaway. The Real Options are developed as a main topic, but you can also learn a commitmet deal about Agile, Kanban or Feature Injection.
This is a great idea for stimulating some productive and creative discussions. Theory of Constraints, the Kanban Method, uncertainty and variability, various decision-making approaches, etc. There’s a hint of the character’s personal life, but it doesn’t distract much from the concepts the book is attempting to explore.

I look at options in all the decisions I take, both professional and personal. The commic format creates an engagement and pleasure while reading that you would not normally have with a book on a complex topic like real options.
