They are both tragically doomed in different ways. I think it dw be better if I read these books back to back since apparently my memory sucks. What I enjoyed the most about the previous books, the Dark-Hunters, was largely missing here.

Urian and Chris are there to help keep the poor boy so sheltered he will never even get a splinter or a runny nose. The new characters such as Kat, Stryker, Apollymi and Urian also make the story more interesting.
Anyway, overall, I enjoyed the book and will look forward to the next one. Admittedly, that’s a problem, but the gentle reader knows that’s not going to happen anyway. I love the supporting character, Chris. I was disappointed with the lack of Ash though.

Her current series are: Kenyon writes excellent kissing and sex. I loved the different characters but it took a little time warming up to them so for this one 3. Cassandra is a half-Appollite half-human, fated to die on her 27th birthday unless she turns Daimon. Kenyon knows how to write about pain.
